With focused experience at the highest levels, Dounia Wone has tackled sustainable development issues for some of France’s biggest institutions, including Ministère du Logement, Ministère de la transition écologique, Assemblée Nationale, Mairie de Paris.
Working with Cécile Duflot at the Regional Council of Ile-de-France, and later at the Ministry of Housing, Dounia directed the communications for the parliamentary environmentalist group.
As chief of staff to the deputy mayor for the Social and Solidarity Economy (...) of Paris, she helped create the Paris Good Fashion movement, focused on supporting the industry’s efforts around environmental responsibility.
Committed to constructing effective public policy, Dounia has always sought to build bridges between the public and the private, important institutions and key brands. It was only natural that she joined Vestiaire Collective in March 2020, bringing her initiative, high standards, and ecological and societal vision to a brand which, like her, aims to have a profound impact on the way its community of millions of fashion activists think and act.
